Heather Collins

Heather Collins joins Viron Therapeutics as Executive Manager, working for the offices of the President & CEO as well as the Co-Founder and Academic Chairman. Heather will also play an integral role serving on the HR Leadership team where she will assist with the implementation of core HR responsibilities and processes. 

With over 25 years experience working with global executive leaders, Heather has remained steadfast in her ability to tailor her skills to meet all of the various demands and expectations which her role entails. Working in many different areas including consulting, biopharma and software, Heather brings a vast amount of knowledge to the table for Viron. Most recently, Heather showcased her skills at Turbonomic, where she served as right hand to a $2B acquisition by IBM.

In Heather 's past roles, she has consistently been named a top trusted advisor of the Executive and HR teams, where she was able to assist in the building of a strong and talented workforce and culture; her true passion. She is highly regarded as an individual able to build long term, trusting relationships both inside and outside the organizations she works for and always does so with the utmost integrity. 

Heather holds a Bachelors degree in Marketing and Communications from UMass Amherst. A Boston native, she lives with her husband and two children just north of the city. Outside of work, you can find her near the beach, the pool or the garden.
